100 iNCH Television Viewing Distance and Screen Dimensions

For 100″ diagonal televisions, a viewing distance (from screen surface to eyes) range of 10.0′ (or 120″) to 15.0′ (or 180″) is recommended for the best TV viewing experience. If your regular viewing distance will be more than that, you should at least consider a larger screen size TV.

Viewable rectangular screen dimensions for an exactly 100″ diagonal TV are 87.2″ wide by 49.0″ high. Actual screen width and height may vary by tenths of an iNCH either more or less, as TV screen size classes are rounded to the nearest whole iNCH.
